  2. cannabis has always been used in medication in Morocco for a longtime.. in my experience, if a baby has a breathing difficulties, us used to take them to someone who smokes cannabies and blows on the baby.. I did it to my own child..so nothing new in our shores๐Ÿ‘

  6. Like alcohol, cannabis is a drug that has negative effects on health including psychological. It has messed up a lot of young lives. The government wants to keep the young people dopped so they don't fight for their rights .

  8. Legalizing cannabis is a very good decision, especially for the farmers, they never profit from that industry and there are a lot of repercussions on their life and families, for exemple they canโ€™t send their kids too schools cuz they are wanted by the police. Also for a country like Morocco with no ressources like oil or gaz itโ€™s very important. The prohibition of cannabis came with the French occupation( a mixture of tobacco and cannabis was legal though and was sold in the market)before that there was no legislation and it was used with no problems.it was used by Haddawa , a mystic religious group like hippies ( in the 60s they used to call Moroccan hippies haddawa lol) and this from centuries.

  9. Nonetheless, it is the right step for Morocco to make money because their continuous spending on infrastructure and property development instead of important factors like health care is causing a huge gap between the economic classes of people. Why are modern properties in Morocco the same cost as modern properties in the West, and yet the average salary remains far too low for an average Moroccan to afford such properties? Unless someone is paid in Euro or US dollars, even 6 figure salaries in Dirhams is not enough for a family. And from what I hear, the average Moroccan family is at least 4 people.

  10. I'm not pro cannabis personally due to the bad odour, but if any government decides to make it legal, they should a) treat it just like alcohol and cigarettes, so minors cannot get access to it and you can only buy it from licensed vendors, and b) it should be made legal in one shot – medicinal and recreational. If it is just medicinal, the government would have reason to crackdown on potential growers/sellers that don't have medicinal licenses, thereby fining such people or with jail time. Especially if these growers/sellers are making millions of $. A lot of police that know would take advantage of the situation and force shops to close or ask for absurd under the table bribes just so those illegal operations continue. If bribes are commonplace in your society, corruption from police is just as much common. Canada's approach was one of the best methods. One shot, medicinal and recreational. Sold initially online by provincially regulated vendors, but now available via retail shops. Unfortunately, due to the initial provincial steps (sold via the government site with no 3rd party vendors), it is not profitable yet.

  11. I hope the government succeed in legalizing it because itโ€™s going to benefit small time farmers, investments and work opportunities, the quality will be watched so no more bad quality weed which is good for the mental health of smokers, itโ€™s going to boost tourism and cannabis can save trees when it comes to making paper so itโ€™s a win win for everybody. โœŒ๐Ÿผ

  12. Recreational use was always pretty laid back in Morocco , it's even a cultural thing , kif pipes are sold in souks amongst the usual groceries , it's the Mass trafficking that's prohibited…
